Aleksandra Revina hat einen akademischen Hintergrund in Betriebswirtschaft, Geschäftsprozessmanagement und Linguistik. Ihr Forschungsinteresse gilt unter anderem verschiedenen Methoden und Werkzeugen zur Analyse und Automatisierung von Geschäftsprozessen aus den Bereichen Wirtschaftsinformatik, Geschäftsprozessmanagement, Textanalyse und Linguistik. Ziel ist es, effiziente Entscheidungsunterstützung für Prozessarbeiter zu entwickeln. Während ihrer Doktorarbeit zum Thema datengetriebene Prozesskomplexitätsanalyse zur Entscheidungsunterstützung arbeitete Aleksandra in mehreren Prozessanalyseprojekten aus dem industriellen und akademischen Kontext. Sie schloss ihre Promotion im Januar 2023 erfolgreich mit einer wissenschaftlichen Verteidigung mit dem Gesamturteil „mit Auszeichnung“ ab.
