Dr. Gergana Vladova

Research Group Lead

Gergana Vladova is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Information Systems, with an emphasis on pro-cesses and systems, at the University of Potsdam and has been head of Research Group 7 (Education and Ad-vanced Training in the Digital Society) since 2017. She holds a master's degree in international economic relations from the University of Sofia (Bulgaria), a master's degree in communication sciences and economics from the FU Berlin and a doctorate in business informatics from the University of Potsdam.

Since 2008 she has been working in various application-oriented and DFG-funded research projects on the topics of competence development in the context of digitalisation, knowledge and innovation management, and product piracy. In addition, she gives lectures and seminars at the University of Potsdam on the topics of knowledge management, business process management, knowledge transfer and further education in the context of digitalisation, as well as being a guest lecturer at the BSP Business School Berlin.

During her research stay at Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and in the context of close cooperation with Hong Kong Polytechnic University (China) she was and is actively involved in international and interdisciplinary research projects.
