Sarah Victoria Mohr

Former Research Fellow

About

Sarah Victoria Mohr completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts and deepened her expertise in the Master's degree program in Marketing Management at Hof University of Applied Sciences. Since 2023, she has been a research fellow in the Empirical Research and User Experience research group at the Institute for Information Systems at Hof University of Applied Sciences. In this role, she works on projects in the field of user experience with automotive suppliers, among others.

As part of her doctorate, she is focusing on a stimulus that has received little attention to date: the effect of olfactory stimuli in immersive Virtual Reality experiences. She is investigating both psychological and physiological effects and analyzing how targeted olfactory stimuli influence the perception and behavior of users in digital environments. During her fellowship at the Weizenbaum Institute, she will analyze the potentials and challenges of scents as a “forgotten” modality in immersive learning in VR to find out whether and how they can enrich the learning experience in digital spaces.
