Philip Schummel

Student Assistant

Philip Schummel is currently a student assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics, especially Processes and Systems, at the University of Potsdam. He is also actively involved in the research group "Education for the Digital World" at the Weizenbaum Institute.

His academic career started with a five-semester study of mathematics and philosophy for a teaching degree at the Freie Universität Berlin. In 2020, he decided to change subjects and enrolled in the Business Informatics program at the University of Potsdam. Since May 2021, he has been a student assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics, especially in processes and systems, where he was involved in the project "Digital Solutions made in Brandenburg (digisolBB)". From January 2023, he now strengthened the team of the research group "Education for the Digital World" and dedicated himself to topics in the field of education and corporate training.

In addition, he is involved in producing and editing video projects at the Chair of Information Systems at the University of Potsdam, which are in the context of research projects.
