Lizanna Engel

About

As Assistant to the Managing Board, Lizanna Engel supports the four board members of the Weizenbaum Institute in their daily operations, handling organizational, strategic, and administrative matters - from scheduling and meeting preparation to serving as a liaison between research and the science-supporting areas.

Previously, she worked in digital transformation, specializing in agile methods, growth and innovation strategies as a consultant and project manager. Her expertise includes digital transformation, process optimization, and intercultural communication.

She studied International Marketing & Management (M.Sc., Copenhagen Business School/HEC Paris) and International Business Administration (B.Sc., Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt/Sun Yat-sen University). As a systemic coach, she integrates economic, technical, and social perspectives. Her particular interest lies in how digital transformation can be designed to be socially just and ecologically sustainable.
