Anni Carlsson
About
Anni Carlsson received her Master of Laws degree from Uppsala University in Sweden in 2014. She is currently a doctoral candidate in constitutional law at Faculty of Law at Uppsala University. Her doctoral project is a comparative study of the constitutional protection of free speech in the context of social media in the US, Germany, Sweden and the EU. She has previously been a visiting researcher at University of California, Berkeley and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Anni was a visiting fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute in June-July 2019 and again in September-October 2023. During her stay at the Weizenbaum Institute, Anni works with the research group “Norm Setting and Decision Processes”.
