About

Alina Wolf is a student assistant in the research project “Generative AI in Science” within the research group “Reorganisation of Knowledge Practices”.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science and Sociology at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, complemented by a certificate program in Gender Studies. She previously studied Sociology and Communication Studies at the Technical University of Dresden.

In her master’s thesis, she focuses on approaches in Critical Security Studies with regard to European migration and security discourses in the context of digital border technologies.

Her research interests focus in particular on the interrelation of technology, knowledge (production), and socio-political relations of power and inequality from an intersectional and critical perspective.
