Christine Gerber

Christine Gerber has been a research associate in the “Globalization, Work and Production“ group at the WZB since March 2015. Since April 2024, she is a postdoctoral researcher in the BMAS-funded research project “Generative AI in the world of work (GENKIA): Application, Impact and Design“.

She defended her doctorate entitled “Platform work as a burning glass for the future of work?“ at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in January 2023. Her research interests include: Changes in work organisation and working conditions due to digitalization, the labor process debate, digital forms of work management and control, precarious forms of employment and the precarization of work.
