Karoline Helbig has been a doctoral student at the Weizenbaum-Institut since March 2018. She studied sociology with a focus on "Work, Welfare, Profession" and Mathematics at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. After that, she worked as a research assistant at the Helmut-Schmidt-University Hamburg in the project "The Change of Liberal Democracy in the Age of Digitalization". Her research focuses, among other things, on deliberative democracy theory in the context of digital societies.
