Evelin Espenberg

Evelin Espenberg is working in Weizenbaum Institute as an event manager since May 2023. She is supporting the technical organisation of the events organised both by Weizenbaum Institute and third parties which are connected to the institute and take place in the premises of the Weizenbaum Institute. She is also responsible for all the practical matters our own events, which take place outside the Weizenbaum Institute.

She has ten years of experience in the field of event organizing with a focus on scientific conferences and congresses. Previously she has worked at different event agencies, in an event location and at visitBerlin - the Berlin's official marketing agency. Evelin has a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Tartu in Estonia where her research was focusing on the changes in social cognition in Estonia in the context of a transitional society.

Evelin is passionate about everything around events - both for work and at her free time she likes to discover new venues, new restaurants and cafés, different attractions and art projects.
