Dr. ir. Xixi Lu

About
Xixi Lu is an Assistant Professor (tenured) in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University. She received her Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. Subsequently, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of Process-Aware Data Science (Process Mining) and Machine Learning. Specifically, she focusses on developing methods, approaches, and algorithms for analyzing complex event data. This analysis aims to understand, predict, and optimize the behavior of various processes. These methods have been applied in various sectors such as healthcare, IT, banking, and auditing.
