Roland Scharathow

Former Political Communication & Public Affairs

After studying political science, Roland Scharathow worked for many years as a lobbyist for an industry association in Germany and on EU level. He then switched to consumer protection and is responsible for publicly funded projects and target group work, most recently as a division manager at the Verbraucherzentrale Berlin.

At the Weizenbaum Institute, Mr. Scharathow is the contact person for stakeholders from politics and administration and oversees the active communication of research results to these target groups.
