Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wenguang Yu

Former Research Fellow

Wenguang Yu is Associate Professor at Renmin University of China Law School in Beijing. She studied law at China University of Political Science and Law and received her Ph.D. from the Goethe University of Frankfurt in 2009 with a dissertation on public private partnerships. Her research and teaching interests focus on public law, Internet regulation, public private partnerships and comparative law.

Prof. Yu attaches particular importance to international academic exchange. She founded the Sino-German Institute for Regulatory Law at Renmin Law School and has organised several international conferences in Beijing. She has also been visiting scholar at Yale Law School, the Law Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and the Law Faculty of the Humboldt University Berlin.

From June 1st to October 31st, 2019, Prof. Yu will be working as research fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute in the Research Group 16 on the research project “Shifts in Normsettings in the Internet – with special Consideration of the technical Standards in Cyberspace”.
