Vidisha Mishra

Former Research Fellow

Vidisha completed her Msc. in Gender, Development, and Globalisation from the London School of Economics and Political Science and has over 5 years of research and multistakeholder project management experience as an Associate Fellow and Gender Lead at Observer Research Foundation, India. Her research focuses on how local socio-cultural norms interact with, get replicated, or transform with new technologies in emerging economies.
 
Vidisha is a member of the Women20 Network and the Think Tank 20 Digital Economy Task Force of the G20. She represented India at the W20 Berlin Summit and W20 Tokyo Summit. She is also a member of Canada’s Global Partnership Initiative on Effective Triangular Co-operation. Vidisha has over 30 publications on platforms such as Routledge Books and the World Economic Forum (WEF) as well as international media platforms. Previously, she was a fellow for the Managing Global Governance Programme of the German Development Institute and the German Federal Foreign Office’s International Futures Programme.
