The Bits & Bäume Conference will take place from 30 September to 2 October 2022 in Berlin. The Weizenbaum Institute is a co-organiser and invites all interested parties to respond to the Call for Participation by 7 June 2022.
After the successful first Bits & Bäume Conference in 2018, the topics of digitalisation and sustainability are more present in our society today than ever before, because we are facing major social and global challenges for a fair and sustainable shaping of our environment.
An important goal of the conference is to connect the interested community with representatives of socio-ecologically operating small digital companies and founders in order to find concrete solutions for the urgent questions of our time. Political strategies and governance proposals will be discussed. Best practice examples will be used to learn from each other how climate and environmental protection, social justice, democracy and fundamental rights can be realised in the digital age.
With this Call for Participation, we call on people from civic organisations and actors within science, economy and politics to help shape the conference with their own contributions! Possible languages for contributions: DE & EN.
