Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience: Approaches for Strengthening Socio-Technical Systems
The number of threats and cyberattacks on businesses as well as public infrastructure have increased dramatically in recent years. This Weizenbaum Forum brings together experts from different perspectives to discuss how we can strengthen cybersecurity and cyber resilience.
As more social and economic activity is moving online and a growing numbers of objects are software-augmented, networkable, and computing-assisted, novel challenges for cybersecurity and cyber resilience have emerged. With this, the attack surface is growing, and cyber threats are increasing. This Weizenbaum Forum brings together experts from different domains and with different perspectives to explore current challenges and policy efforts at the EU level and to debate (potential) ways forward to strengthen our socio-technical systems.

Each event brings together three selected experts from different fields to shed light on the social consequences of digitalization from different perspectives and then discuss them with the participants.
